The last time I went to Walmart before this pandemic hit a very irate woman kept screaming at a man for not helping her, he didn't even work there and told her several times that. Hehehehehe my senior class went on a trip to DC...got on the wrong metro and was stuck in the subway under the pentagon...we were running up the down escalators and running down the up...there was no one there but a guard...while we were messing around they yelled at ua over the loud speaker 😂😂😂😂😂

food stalker open labeless can make a "tuna" salad never say it is yours, just never clarify who it is for set it down, the can, with what is left and make a comment that there is enough left for later after she eats her salad feed yours to your new cat or the cat you are pet sitting then make your food. while eating your meal, don't forget to casually ask her where the rest of the cat food went while she is eating her "tuna" salad. if she cant pay attention to your feelings she probably wont pay attention while you are making the plate for the cat
If I won the lottery, I'd buy the house my mom is renting and gift it too her. I would then split the rest into retirement, inheritance funds, insurance and basic living.

The aunt who gives gifts expecting favors sounds just like my sister. She's 14 years older than I, so she had a child when I was 7. By the time I was 12, I was sent to 'visit' her a few states away. I took care of her kids and cleaned and she would 'reward' me by taking us all to the pool, or whatever. When I got a little older, for almost a month 'visit', I'd get an outfit. It was never fair and, if I tried to say anything, or want to go home, she'd remind me of everything she did for me! When I was 20, I was getting married. My sister volunteered her nice home and even bought the ring my husband would place on my finger in the ceremony, a small gold band. For probably a year after my marriage all I heard about was that damned "50 dollar ring" she had bought me! I went to a pawn shop and pawned the damned thing. I only got 3 dollars for it, but found another 5 in the street while walking home. In the pregnant wife eating all the lemon meringue pie, she needed Vitamin C. LOL The body is always indicating what it needs via cravings.

The pie story... i know pregnant women have cravings and need to eat more but shoving down very often a whole pie in one go is not healthy. it's not just craving, the wife will end up with pregnancy diabetes or gain too much weight. She's using her cravings as an excuse to overindulge, hormones are crazy and it's hard to control (i know what i'm talking about i've had my periods for 3months straights as off rn, my hormones and constant pmsing makes me cave in to cravings a bit too often lately) but you need to control it and still stay healthy. I think the wife needs some support.

I don't have a fear of escalators or elevators, but I am wary of the elevator in my sister's apartment complex. It breaks a ton, and having been stuck in a (different) elevator for 3 hours before, the creaky, shaky elevator that I KNOW has broken at least 5 times in 2020 isn't all that inviting.
the whole pie thing i don't think anyone is an a hole in that instance pie is meant to be shared i understand she is pregnant and can control her urges which is ok. as someone who has lived around pregnant women i understand when food comes you gotta sneak in and out real quick to get your share before its all gone. i probably would have asked my sister to deliver the pie on a day off though if possible so that i could get my slice before she started to chow down that way she wouldnt feel bad about asking for the last piece since i already got mine and she would feel a little better about eating the rest.

As many people have suggested NTA, but definitely get wife checked for diabetes. OP, start making more then just your meals, make them for her and then make a seperate one for you. Tell her she won't get thinner faster if she doesn't eat what you make her. And if she protests, ask her if she has a medical reason for eating that way.

A gift is something given freely with no expectation of return. Your aunt clearly does not understand that the word gift and the word leverage do not mean the same thing. It's not that you are ungrateful for her gifts, but you are under no obligation to rearrange your life and schedule to suit her demands. As she has done this with various family members over the years, it shouldn't surprise the rest of your family that you've had enough. As for any apology, talk to your aunt and thank her for the offer of a new car. Also explain to her that you are excited to be able to purchase your very first car as an adult. She may have given you a wonderful vehicle, but it may not be the vehicle you were actually wanting. I'm guessing any vehicle given would have been fine if it wasn't trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey in her expectations that you would be available at all hours to do whatever she decided she needed done. Your aunt needs to buy a clue. The rest of your family that is upset with you over this needs to reassess their own situations and back off of yours. You're an adult now. You get to make big boy decisions for yourself.
Give the bride's wedding party a date by which they must pay the deposit portion of their trip when you had that cash in hand, book the trip on your credit card. It's ridiculous to expect you to foot that kind of a bill for someone else's bachelorette party. Your wife needs to learn to volunteer for things that she can actually cover. And booking the trip would fall under the Matron or Maid of Honor's duties usually.

I can totally understand why OP is tired of it. It's not OP's diet choice because they have much choice or try to lose weight, they chose their food because of an illness that restricts their diet. And it's not healthy for the gf to follow that kind of diet either since it's specified to work for OP's body.
